Homeward bound

27 hours. 2 coffee's. 1 monster. 1 Juke. 1,809 miles. 6 states.

We made it home! Thys and I drove up to our house at 6:45am this morning. We left Trinity at 5:15 Friday morning. We drove straight through. Only stopped for lunch; had dinner in the car. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. My car was so full we couldn't see out the back window. But we both had leg room and a pillow. We broke up the driving shifts to 7 hours each. We were suppose to do that twice, but Thys picked up half of my second shift. My eyes did not want to stay awake any more after 4 am. I am so glad to be home and have all of my stuff unpacked. My parents, brother and I had a tasty dinner tonight. We are ready to celebrate Christmas together.

Yes I dared to take a picture after driving for 12 hours.

I put the extra Nutella to use. I got apples from McDonalds and dipped them in it. It was pretty good.
