Here It Goes

Well, I have just started my first blog and you could say my first real interaction with the internet world. I have had an increase interest in blogging after reading my sister-in laws, Melissa's blog. I saw another view in her family's life, and I hope that I can bring you into my life. I guess you could say that my journalism class here at Trinity helped me realize that I like writing. But I do not enjoy the 5 page essays that are due in History class. Why is that?

It has been a normal week of school. Wednesday are not as bad for me though, because I do not have school on Tuesdays. Instead, I teach Story Hour at Palos Christian Reformed Church. Yesterday we brought the kids outside and played on the playground.I don't know what gave me the idea to go outside because it is still in the 40's here. I taught the class about Palm Sunday and repeatedly said, "Hosanna Hosanna, Hosanna in the Highest." I know one little boy got the hang of it when he would say the phrase while waving his paper palm tree, and I felt like I had accomplished something.

I only have 5 weeks and 2 days of my freshman year of college left. It is very exciting because then I won't have to write papers and study for test for 3 months. Don't get me wrong I will miss my roommates and friends very much. I can't imagine a day without "Baby Mama" quotes, or the excitement of having fresh fruit in the caf.

I know this blog is kinda all over, but I am just super excited. Don't worry mom and dad, I am off to bed next!
