Today I learned...

In my Contemporary Marketing class we were discussing how Coke really was filled with coke way back when. I learned that the pharmacist would fill a cup with carbonated water, some sryup, and the drug (like coke). Later on they began mixing the drinks at soda fountains, like the one I mentioned on my trip to Texas. The place we stopped at was called Addison's Drug. Since then I have wondered why a soda fountain was in a drug store. Now it all makes sense to me. They wanted the drug to taste better.

So there you go, you now know why the drug and food is a one stop shop.
